MERLION LEAGUE 22 of our swim team members recently represented our club at the Merlion League held at Tanglin Club in September. It was the first time for many of our young charges to participate in a competition, and with the help and encouragement of Coaches Greg, Rodel and Tata, our team attained a total of 34 medals. It was fantastic to see our young swimmers doing their very best, as they did themselves and our club proud!

MEET OUR LIFEGUARDS Safety at the pools is of utmost importance to us. Since September, Chief Lifeguard Abdul has led the team on numerous swim training and hazard simulation sessions. These rigorous training sessions not only ensure our lifeguards maintain their fitness, but that each team member also knows exactly what to do if a Member encounters difficulty in the water. To date, our team has carried out 9 rescues since the pools opened, with many of these incidents identified before children found themselves experiencing difficulty in the water. Our squad has also acted as first responders in other areas of The Club whenever Members need assistance or first aid. Kudos to them!
