Dear Members, The New Year is a time for beginnings, for opening the door to new oppor tunities. At The Club, we’re throwing open the doors of our new Clubhouse to welcome Members into our home away from home. With revitalized facilities, outlets and programs, The Club has more to offer than ever before and we’re excited at the possibilities. We understand that navigating the new Clubhouse can be more confusing due to the change in layout, so the Membership team is offering guided tours for Members – more details in this magazine. It’s a great time to show off The Club to your friends and encourage them to join our community. The Win/Win Plus membership referral program has been extended to March 31, 2020, with Members enjoying additional F&B vouchers when their friends join. Even as we enjoy the fully operational Clubhouse, work to improve the new spaces continues. Over the next year, The Club will work with the appointed redevelopment contractors to rectify any defects and ensure quality throughout our facilities. The staff team is also familiarizing itself with the new outlets, striving to optimize workflow and ser vice levels.We greatly value your feedback as it helps us to improve. Along with the Clubhouse enhancements, it’s time to enhance our safety and security by activating the access control capability that has been installed. This Spring, The Club will progressively launch new access control measures at the walkway next to the Guardhouse, the Lobby entrance and the Gym. A turnstile has been installed at the entr y to the walkway next to the Guardhouse and access control for vendors will be implemented at this entr y point, similar to the turnstile access control that was implemented much earlier at the car park entrance. Once access control is implemented at the Lobby entrance, guests will be greeted by our Concierge team and directed to the Lobby waiting area while Members are notified of their arrival. Likewise, The Gym will also switch to card access soon. Members can simply tap their Membership card to enter, similar to the current Thinkspace Business Centre entrance. Safety

remains one of The Club’s top priorities, and these new measures help make security more convenient for all. More details on the phased implementation of these new access control points will be made available soon. To complement your new Clubhouse experience, you can also look forward to the unveiling of our new website in the coming months with enhanced visuals, more intuitive navigational features and seamless transactional experience. The Club is also committed to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Through reduced usage of plastic, the B.Y.O.B. (bring your own box/bottle) program at Central and even the choice of FSC paper for this magazine, we want to do our par t in working towards a sustainable future. Now you can enjoy a paperless subscription to the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and TAC Overdrive. Just connect to The Club Wi-Fi network for complimentar y access to electronic reading material. The Green Team, comprising staff representatives from key outlets, works closely with the Sustainability Working Group to continually identify oppor tunities to do more to protect our environment. With many exciting events and offerings to look forward to, we are entering 2020 with anticipation. My team and I will work hard to make The Club a fun, vibrant place for Members to connect, relax and recharge. Members are the hear t of The American Club, and we hope to see the community come together and celebrate that over the year to come.
