February 1 – 29 TRX One-minute Challenge Test your strength and endurance with February’s fitness challenge. Complete as many repetitions within one minute while assessed by a Club personal trainer. February 4 Nutrition 101 In this busy day and age where everyone eats out, how can proper nutrition help to better our lives? Come by for a fun and informative session with fellow Club Member Dr Steven Tucker, and discover how eating right can revolutionize your life. Happening at Thinkspace from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. This event is organized in conjunction with the HEAL Subcommittee. February 6 – 15 Guest Therapist: Carita Wong Ka Huna Bodywork is a flowing and dynamic form of massage therapy applied to the body using rhythmical strokes, best suited for those who feel physically drained and tired, or for those who suffer from aching backs or stiff necks. Carita will also be introducing Zenthai Shiatsu, an effective structural and energetic form of bodywork integrating Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Thai Massage and Osteopathic techniques. The session is tailored to each individual’s needs and can be offered as relaxation or a therapy with a specific focus, or in combination with Ka Huna massage. February 9 & 23 Sunday Brunch @ Galbraith Start Sundays on a sweet note with regular brunches at The Galbraith Ballroom from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Our varied buffet selection changes from month to month so there’s always something new for you to sample! February 17 Holographic Meridian Guasa Therapy Workshop This 1.5-hour workshop by Guasa Therapist Winny Kwok will include an introduction to guasa, health benefits and myths of guasa, and a hands-on session on guasa self- care. Participants who sign up for the workshop will enjoy a complimentary one-hour Holographic Meridian Guasa Therapy, to be utilized anytime between February 19 and March 3. February 19 A Delicious Evening with Chef Sunita Vira Settle in for a lively discussion on fun, food and lifestyle with Chef Sunita Vira from Chicago, a pioneer of the raw food movement in Singapore and founder of Raw Food Center. Relish in delicious appetizers and canapés made using recipes from Chef Vira’s book Raw for Life and about how a raw food diet transformed the Chef's life. February 9 Kids’ Valentine’s Day Activities Celebrate the season of love with your friends! Come by for cookie and cupcake decoration, and create a card from scratch for your Mom and Dad. Drop- off event; $25 for Child Member and $35 for Child Guest. Happening from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. atThe Quad Studios. February 14 Valentine’s Day Set Dinner @ The 2 nd Floor Treat your sweetheart to an exquisite and romantic dinner at The Club this Valentine’s Day. Set dinner is priced at $228 per couple (Members) and includes two glasses of Champagne. February 15 Family Total Defense Day Let the kids learn the importance of protecting Singapore during emergencies at our annual Total Defense Day event. Join us anytime between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (no drop-offs) at The Quad and take part in our interactive activities. Our friendly neighborhood police officers will also be on-site!
