Record of Meeting:
S/N Item 1.
a. Chair called the meeting to order at 3.03pm. Chair then handed over to AP to discuss the meeting’s agenda. A) Club Incidents a. AP opened about the safety protocols that were temporarily set aside during Covid as there were no activities then. This will be discussed further under Team Welllness/WSH items later, to refresh everyone as well as to inform newly joined team leaders and members. b. For Member incidents, AP reported that most incidents involved sports injuries at tennis courts and swimming pool and the quads. He asked for occasional safety briefings/reminders by coaches prior to matches/lessons and around the pool area as well . Members’ underlying health conditions also contributed to member related incidents. c. Meanwhile, staff related incidents involved mostly slips, trips and falls (STF) and cuts by knife and other objects. d. Based on projection, the Club will exceed the number of incidents compared to last year which is alarming. Though the high number involves member related incident, this still reflects the Club’s overall standing. e. AP once again urged everyone to always think safety all the time and to address and report any potential hazards, both in member and staff spaces. f. AP shared the WSH digital platforms, the e-book, for team members to access safety resources, and the QR code to immediately report any potential hazard they encounter.
