Union Bar needs a couple more Asian lunch choices – Laksa or Szechuan chicken. I would like to see some local food introduced to the menu please.

RESPONSE: Thank you for patronizing Union Bar! Our beloved Union Bar is an American themed sports bar. With almost all our dining outlets open now, Asian choices are aplenty at our all-day-dining restaurant Tradewinds. Delight in local favorites such as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Laska, Gong Bao Chicken, Steamed Fish with Tofu and more. If you’re looking for variety, opt for our buffet lunch or dinner instead. Psst: one child (under 5) eats free per adult for buffets!

My name is Robert E Smith Jr and I amcurrently an absentee Member. My family have been members of The American Club for more than 25 years. During that period, we had many wonderful times in all of the venues of The Club. The Union Bar, however, has been a particular favorite for all of my family including the children after they grew into young adults. The Union Bar staff, both past and present, have made every visit a pleasure. I discussed the end of the membership with my family and we wanted to do something to show our appreciation and recognize the efforts of all of the fine folks in the Union Bar over many, many years. They have been champions. We concluded that what champions need is - A TROPHY!!! On my last visit on June 25, I was pleased to present the Union Bar staff with a trophy that my family had created for them. They are very highly deserving of this and recognition for their consistently high level of performance over many, many years. Many thanks for the many years of happiness that you have given us. RESPONSE: We are so touched that you presented our UB staff with a trophy – it’s Members like yourself that makes The Club feel like home for so many of our staff!
