FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER Dear Members,

seating, more bathrooms, and another dining outlet are only a few of the things to come. In the next quarter, we are anticipating the opening of the Gym and amazingly, The Gourmet Pantry, which wasn’t slated to be delivered until TOP4. Behind Tradewinds there will be a fair amount of kitchens on L1 and B1 that will help support restaurants throughout The Club and off-site for catering. Opening these kitchens will mean re-training, shuffling, and adjustments to be made — and that’s before learning a new menu and restaurant. Similar to when you first move into a new home, it takes time to determine the best configuration of the furniture, the most efficient path to get coffee, and just the right temperature of the air conditioning, our teams will be doing the same operationally. We are rebuilding your home away from home, and your kind feedback will help us achieve a Club that you can enjoy and will be proud. I understand that as we near the end of the project and these last outlets open and the drilling finally ends, our patience can run thin. Believe me, I am looking forward to this project finishing as much as anyone! But we do ask for your continued goodwill as staff does their best to provide you excellent service in less-than-perfect work conditions. We will be learning about these spaces on the job, and we appreciate your patience until we soon have it down to a science.

As we near the end of Q1, I am thankful that we are beginning to see theendof the tunnel of the redevelopment project. It was - and remains - a mammoth task that could not have come to fruition without active participation from patient and understanding Members and the steadfast support of staff. Members approved The Club for redevelopment in June 2015 to improve facilities and services so as to meet the evolving needs of Members. It was a juggling act to continue operations throughout the redevelopment of Clubhouse facilities as this entailed the closure of F&B outlets in phases and temporary relocations of services onsite and offsite such as the Aquatics program, among many other change movements. I am proud of our dedicated team that has maintained a strong service culture and ensured Members’ continued satisfaction, while taking on changes in their roles as the redevelopment progresses. Launched just a month ago in early February, The Quad has already won over young fans who were eager to try out the fun offerings. With activities for all ages, it comes as no surprise that The Quad is fast becoming a hit with families. We are currently planning for the handover of the Lobby and Tradewinds at the end of this month from the contractors to The Club, with the spaces opening for Members’ usage soon after. I know you must be as excited as I am to reclaim the front of The Club. More Change brings opportunity. Nido Qubein

Best Regards,
