Book Club Book lovers rejoice! Our monthly Book Club meetings are the perfect platform for you to connect with other avid readers. Members are invited to read the book of the month in their own time then join our meetings for a discussion. A facilitator will encourage participation with talking points.

March 29: The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens College student Joe Talbert has the modest goal of completing a writing assignment for an English class. His task is to interview a stranger and write a brief biography of the person. With deadlines looming, Joe heads to a nearby nursing home to find a willing subject. There he meets Carl Iverson, and soon nothing in Joe's life is ever the same. April 26: The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead A magnificent tour de force, Whitehead’s award-winning novel chronicles a young slave’s adventure as she makes a desperate bid for freedom in the antebellum South. The narrative seamlessly weaves together America’s sagas from the brutal importation of Africans to the unfulfilled promises of the present day.

Movies at The Club

Beginning March 1, you can enjoy a selection of high-definition movies on our portable DVD players! Simply approach any of our friendly Thinkspace staff to view our movie selection. Members are free to watch the DVDs anywhere within Thinkspace. Perfect for keeping the young ones occupied when you need to work, or simply to enjoy some much-needed downtime.
