And just like that, we have come to the last quarter of 2022 and Winter is here. The Club’s Winter theme is Merry & Bright, a traditional take on the year-end festivities. Things are looking red and gold, basked in warm light, a feeling that transports you to a time when you were a bright-eyed child on a cold December morning. Winter coincides with Christmas, a Christian tradition commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. But Christian or not, people around the world have found their own way of celebrating this annual holiday. Turn to Page 5 and read about a brief history on how this global celebration came about. Pastry Chef Yeni Sukowati is featured on Team Member Spotlight on Page 3. Learn about her career journey, what inspires her, her thoughts on leadership and what it takes to prepare the pastry kitchen for the festive season.
