I just read your sustainability newsletter and it’s great! Thank you for taking this on! I wondered if it would be possible to get eWaste facilities as I am sure there are many members who have old laptops, cellphones, cables, etc. I believe there is an initiative by Starhub where they have bins for eWaste. I understand that it is not as simple as asking for it and that there are lots of considerations around it. Just a suggestion. RESPONSE: Thanks for your feedback and your compliment, we appreciate it! There are no immediate plans to have an e-waste recycling point within The Club. The nearest e-waste recycling point is at Wheelock place, and we encourage Members to recycle their e-waste there.

Hello, all these green initiatives are definitely positive. I have already questioned the usage of plastic cups at the Gym - why is it so difficult to move to paper cups? Thanks. RESPONSE : Thank you for your feedback.We’ve gone one step fur ther and eliminated single-use cups in the new Gym. Since the new Gym opened in Nov 2019, we’ve switched to water bottle fountains and have eliminated the use of approximately 6,700 disposable cups and bottles and counting! A big thank you to our Members who are so willing to embrace change and work in tandem with The Club for a greener Ear th. Interested in green initiatives at The Club?
