WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOUR STAY AT THE FOUR SEASONS LANGKAWI? We had high expectations when we made our reser vation. Several of our friends, who would not be offended if we called them hotel snobs, described the Four Seasons Langkawi as the nicest resor t they have ever stayed at. We’re here to tell you that they weren’t wrong! It was ver y relaxing, and the ser vice was top notch. Our favorite par t was the sunrise yoga session by the lotus pond, after which we strolled along the resor t’s private beach before taking a dip in the Andaman Sea. The resor t is tucked away within an UNESCO World Geopark, and the proper ty is right on the shore of the Andaman Sea. The Malay- style pavilions are completely secluded and private, yet you feel like you are in the jungle! This is one resor t where you definitely don’t need to go exploring offsite. The food and ser vice is excellent, and the sunset view from the Rhu Bar is stunning. WHAT SET YOUR TRIP APART FROM OTHER TRIPS YOU HAVE TAKEN?

WHAT FOOD AND ACTIVITIES DID YOU TRY? We enjoyed Malaysian cuisine at the Ikan-Ikan Restaurant, and breakfast ser ved with bubbly. For activities, we had the chance to kayak, sail, and cycle around the island. WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR TRIP? The boat trip through the mangroves of Kilim River and the pristine, uninhabited outlying islands. It’s HEAVEN! Yes! This trip was outstanding. Staff at the resor t were absolutely superb, and always happy to meet all our needs. As we have specific dietar y requirements, they introduced us to the head chef who did a magnificent job of taking care of our meals. The quality of food was excellent.
