Dawn Kwan unveils her 9th Major Solo Art Exhibition "FERVENT FLOW": an oeuvre of works revealing her earnest, passionate and contemplative flow that deeply connects herself with the paint, canvas and her body.The notion of flow is revealed in how the multivalent densities portray life as a constant flux- Dawn acknowledges the vicissitudes of life and notes how meaning-making is not in the highest or lowest points of existence, but rather, in engaging and fervently embracing the process as a whole; allowing emotions, thoughts and actions to flow as a meaningful process rather than a final outcome. ARTIST, DAWN KWAN Singapore’s young artist, Dawn Kwan, had completed over 400 paintings spanning over eight major solo art exhibitions by age 20. She won the Highly Commended Award for the Abstract Category during the 27th UOB Painter Of the Year Award 2008, when she was twelve.
