NEW PERSONAL TRAINERS To ensure Members receive high quality guidance to achieve their fitness goals, the Club expanded its team of personal trainers by adding two experienced freelancers. The Club sought out individuals with diverse expertise and styles to cater to different Member needs.

NEW TENNIS PROS Two new guest tennis professionals were introduced to add a variety of drills and playing skills to selected days of the Club’s programs – Coach Ezequiel Suarez from Argentina and Coach Muliyadi Jamal from Malaysia. Coach Ezequiel, who is also a certified Padel coach, will be assisting in the Junior Tennis Program and coaching Padel in the future. Coach Muliyadi was former tennis director at One & Only Desaru Malaysia, a former Davis Cup player, and Captain of the Malaysian National team. To date, the Club has six full-time and four part-time Peter Burwash International (PBI) professionals on its Tennis coaching team.

TENNIS ACTIVITIES Tennis was back in full swing to what it was before the pandemic. The tournaments and mixed socials were popular events and were well-attended by Members. The Club ran eight tournaments, including juniors and adults, and started the monthly Friday Sip & Serve Mixed Social. Three teams were sent for the Singapore Tennis Association (STA) Inter-club Tournament, achieving a good run
for the Men’s C category. The Club’s tennis programs had 95% participation during the Fall and Spring Terms with 152 on the waitlist.
