For this Summer’s edition of On Eagle’s Wings, we reminisce our most precious summer memories. Our cover was inspired by a quick weekend getaway with all the essentials in tow. A surfboard, music and an appetite for fun, all piled on our favorite family car that’s as old as our parents. Cue Fun, Fun, Fun by The Beach Boys. Refreshing cocktails will quench your summer thirst. The 2nd Floor's creation, La Paloma, is where tequila meets grapefruit, lime and fizz! If alcohol is not your jam, nothing says summer more than a peach. Check out Central’s Peach Black Tea Spritzer – a refreshing treat for your summer soul. Boozy cocktails go well with delicious food! My favorite summer memory is when my sister and I shared an ice cream, four hands holding a large waffle cone, dripping with chocolate and strawberry dribble. My sister being the selfless one would only lick the melted drips, leaving me with the best par ts. Recalling this memory now melts my hear t. Here’s to making summer memories that will last a lifetime.
