Posters are already available in various staff area however AP addressed the committee and team leaders who have the power to effectively communicate these to their team members. RC suggested that these be made available in different languages which AP agreed to consider. d. Moreover, e-forms on QR code are already available for team members to scan to directly report any potential hazard they may spot. Staff may opt to be anonymous in sending the report. AP receives immediately any alerts and notifications of hazards reported, which he will highlight to the DMs in his absence. RC also suggested to put up stickers on cafeteria tables to be more visible to all staff and if these can be made available in members’ area as well. e. On another note, RC asked to consider mental wellness to help staff on how to deal with rude/difficult members and how to recover from stress. AP shared that he has been liaising with a coach however there is no availability yet as demand for these services are high. He is continually checking with other related organizations as well. AP to work with Janice & PD for collaboration as suggested by RC. f. Team Wellness Channel to date has 48 subscribers. This channel broadcasts any WSH matters including Team Wellness activities. g. Safety Audits. DMs have increased safety audits starting with the chiller man trap alarm testing and handicap emergency button testing. DMs will also be reviving the DM/WSH Audit file for record keeping to be updated every month and any urgent matters will be addressed immediately. Zarina will disseminate link to DM/WSH Audit to all departments by today. AP invites the Team Leaders to be the walking ambassadors of safety and cleanliness with the ultimate goal of having these virtues as everyone’s responsibility.
h. Safety Champion. AP shared that the pioneering staff to be awarded with Safety Excellence Award is Isaac from Aquatics who has displayed an exemplary deed in attending to a near drowning case involving a member’s child. He will be awarded with a certificate and $100 vouchers. Criteria for safety champion calls for any teammember on the ground who exemplifies WSH principle and values and has done something extraordinary. RC also added to consider staff who identifies hazard and reduces risk.
