Reinforcement of Safety Protocol – STF
Distracted walking, this practice is rampant!
§ Out of 4,129 pedestrians surveyed, 814 pedestrians (20%) using a portable device while walking. § 252 (31% ) of those distracted pedestrians were involved in a safety-critical incident. Survey by Monash University – October 20, 2022
TAC Incident – STF @ TSF
Actions Taken § Reviewed TSF Risk Assessment Plan, risk associated with this ramp area addressed, no update needed. § 2 Anti-slip strips installed on Mon, Jan 22., 2024 § TSF team members briefed on Tue, Jan 23, 2024, on all precautionary measures . § Thinner anti-slip mat ineffective, additional 4 anti-slip strips installed on Fri, Jan 26, 2024. Recommendations • Do not rush • Ramp area kept dry at all times – everyone responsibility to do so. • Non-slip shoes to be worn at all times.
To add 2 more non-slip strips
Floor slippery when wet, to place anti-slip mat (sourcing as current anti-slip mat impede the opening and closing of doors during operation hours )

Safety Mindset
DMs will continue highlight Safety concerns and we need your cooperation in addressing the issues
Bad things happened and these regulations will prevent such disasters from happening
When planning, include Safety as part of the agenda.
Non-compliance can lead to hefty fines and imprisonment. These regulations are not created out of vanity. It is about saving lives, including yours…
It will always be tough and inconvenient at first but it is important to observe these regulations
Review our processes and procedures and put these considerations in place…
