MEMORIALIZING KYOTO PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Explore scenic Kyoto – one of Japan’s oldest cities and home to the Japanese royal family for 1,000 years – and learn to capture beautiful landscapes with a master photographer.

Francisco Marin, award-winning photographer and Leica camera brand ambassador, will teach introductory and advanced photographic techniques in this workshop. With Kyoto, the cultural and historical heart of Japan as your canvas, you’ll discover compelling subjects to photograph and avail ample opportunities to develop new photographic capabilities. Experience some of the more than 2,000 temples in the city, beautiful Japanese gardens, an ancient castle, excellent museums and traditional architecture. The trip includes a day excursion to the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima as well as an opportunity to photograph the famous ‘floating’ Torii Gate.
