HOLLANDSE CLUB OVERVIEW With the closure of The Club pool and Poolside restaurant at the end of July, we are pleased to announce alternate pool facilities for Members at Hollandse Club and Bukit Merah Swimming Complex. HOLLANDSE CLUB POOL ACCESS Pool access at the Hollandse Club began on August 1 and will be available to Members all through the redevelopment. Access to the Hollandse Club gives Members an additional venue for recreational swimming, and offers Members a club-like atmosphere with access to food and beverage options in a convenient location.
Some points to note: • Members will be required to show their membership cards at time of entry. Please be reminded to bring your cards for all family Members. • Members (and their guests) will be required to sign in and wear a guest bracelet while at the Hollandse Club. • Members will be able to bring up to four guests with them free of charge. Additional guests will be subject to guest fees. • Members will be able to purchase food and beverages at guest prices at the Hollandse Club. Bills must be settled at the time of purchase by NETS, credit card, or check. • Swim lessons will not be conducted at the Hollandse Club. All American Club swim lessons will be held at the Bukit Merah Swimming Complex. What are the operating hours of The Hollandse Club? The Hollandse Club is open Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to midnight. Friday, Saturday, and Eve of Public Holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Which outlets can I use? American Club Members will have access to the Hollandse Club’s restaurants and swimming pool. Can I participate in other activities and classes organized by The Hollandse Club and if so, is there a cost associated with this? Members cannot participate in Hollandse Club classes but do have access to activities and events organized for non-members paying the quoted non-member fees.
What is the guest rate? Guest entry fee is applicable for each guest in excess of 4. The current guest rate is $2.50/person, but this rate is being reviewed and may change in the future. Is there parking at The Hollandse Club? Yes, you can park your vehicle in the designated visitor parking spaces based upon availability. Parking is currently free of charge, however, this may change in the future. Will The Club be arranging shuttle bus service to The Hollandse Club? No, there will not be shuttle bus service to the Hollandse Club. Does the Hollandse Club have towels or do I need to bring my own? The Hollandse Club has towels for Member and guest usage. Are Members able to bring their helpers to the Hollandse Club? Domestic helpers are only allowed on the Hollandse Club’s premises in cases when parents are not able to accompany their children. They are not allowed to use the facilities, and are permitted to wait for Members’ children only in the designated areas, outside the Rotterdam room, the tennis pavilion, and at the tables at the poolside, next to the main stairs when entering the pool. Can Junior Members use the Hollandse Club facilities without the primary Member? All card carrying Members of the family can use the facilities. Children below 11 are not allowed to enter the premises unaccompanied. Does the Hollandse Club have a baby pool? Yes, there is a wading pool at the Hollandse Club
