how to delegate tasks fairly and how to be a good leader. I was able to apply everything I learned at the program to help guide my team to reach our shared goals. KALYANI PARIVENTHAN (YANI) With her ready smile and bright eyes, Kalyani, orYani as everyone calls her, is a familiar sight around The Club. She started her career in 2013 at the former Colonial Room (nowThe Galbraith Ballroom) and had stints at various F&B outlets before landing at Union Bar. In 2019,Yani had intended to resign as she wanted a change of scenery after being in the F&B department for a number of years, but still loved interacting with her fellow colleagues and Members at The Club. She approached our PD team for a win-win solution, and was re-deployed to the Concierge desk.

KRISTOPHER OCAMPO (KRIS) A trooper through and through, Kristopher sees each redeployment as a challenge and applies himself fully in all the new roles he is assigned to. After being with The Club for 12 years, he has worked in nearly all of our F&B outlets. Eleven of those years were spent working at Eagle’s Nest where he gained a wealth of experience as a team leader. These skills served him well when Eagle’s Nest closed and he was transferred to other F&B outlets and tasked to lead the teams in Central, Grillhouse and Tradewinds. These days, you can find him greeting Members with a smile at Central. What did you learn from your training and how did it contribute to your self- development? I was very fortunate to receive many training opportunities over the years. The most recent one was the Leadership and People Management (LPM) program at SeraphCorp Institute. It reinforced my belief that I needed to be firm when making decision and taught me how to remain calm when I face obstacles at work. I also learned

I am thankful for the Members here and the friendship I have with them.
