5 Minutes with Little Woods parents

Like most parents, Mr Tim Zee and Mrs Tang Wen Li want nothing but the best for their offsprings. With this in mind, they sent both their kids to Little Woods for a holistic start to their education. Prescott began his journey at Little Woods in 2012 when he was 18 months old, and his sister Averell soon followed a year later. The two kids are now proud students at Singapore American School. How has Little Woods helped to shape your children’s education and growth? The teachers at Little Woods have provided a nurturing and safe environment of learning. They have inspired our children’s love for learning, piqued their curiosity in so many topics of the world around them, and in music and art. As a family, we found the changing themes for each term very well thought through, interesting, current and relevant. What did you/your children love best about their journey at Little Woods? Our children enjoyed going to school and looked forward to it every day. They adored their teachers and had a lovely time with their classmates. In this school, our children were treated like individuals, giving them space and time to develop and learn at their own pace. Their style of guidance and interactions gave our children confidence to ask questions, speak up if they were not being heard and to always be thoughtful, respectful and kind towards others. There are so many preschools and Montessori preschools in Singapore – why should parents enrol their child in Little Woods? We first heard about Little Woods from a family in our neighborhood whose two children attended the school. They had nothing but praise for Little Woods’ curriculum, culture and amenities and their views were supported by other neighbors as well. We love its proximity to our home, small student to teacher ratio, the environment of a single storey house with a garden and stellar recommendations by parents of current and previous students.

About Little Woods Montessori Pre-school Established since 1998, Little Woods Montessori Pre-School is a kindergarten with an international and local enrolment.
