Magazine-Mar to April 2017

On January 17, The Club had its official groundbreaking ceremony. The Club’s president, Scott Weber, spoke, champagne was popped, and confetti rained down on the first backhoe full of soil dug. Representatives from the General Committee, Shimizu (the contractor), Aedas (the architect and designers), and Arcadis (the Project managers) all attended, as well as other key consultants. The groundbreaking follows a prayer ceremony that was conducted on site in early December to bless the project and the workers. PRAYER CEREMONY AND GROUNDBREAKING
