THE THREE Sommeliers Alexandre Dumas might have his three musketeers, but right here at your home away from home, we have our three sommeliers for all your vino needs! Introducing Associate Sommelier Lei Dong from The 2 nd Floor, who is well-known in the local circle of wine students and educators for his passion of less-discovered wines. Although young in age, he more than makes up for it with his experience. The wine enthusiast was awarded second place in the 2015 edition of the Wine Specialist challenge and is also an elusive French Wine scholar. Those who frequent HOME will find Samuel a familiar sight. A true veteran in all senses, Samuel has worked in top restaurants all over Asia, including Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. His numerous certificates aside, the wine enthusiast is eager to share his love and in-depth knowledge of wine regions and styles. He is particularly well-versed in how best to pair your delicious home-cooked or catered food with exquisite wine! Last but not least, Alvin , The Club’s Senior Beverage Director started his wonderful journey into the world of wine from his immense passion and love for all things alcohol. The only Singaporean to hold the Advanced Sommelier title, Alvin has represented the country in both the World's Best Sommelier and Asia’s Best Sommelier competitions.
