Time and again, members of our Club community have continued to encourage and uplift one another, through both joy and hardships. Since the start of the challenging COVID-19 situation earlier this year, our staff have been comforted and strengthened by Members’ heartfelt messages of encouragement and thoughtfully prepared snack bundles. Launched in mid-April,The Employee Care Program (ECP) also aimed to raise funds from Members to provide financial support to Club staff who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 situation. Helmed by a team of dedicated Member volunteers and bolstered by overwhelming support from the rest of the Club community, the success of the ECP serves as yet another reminder of why being a part of The American Club family is something truly amazing. As of July 30, 2020, we have received an incredible total of $86,834.25 through direct donations from Members, in support of our dear staff in need. We are happy to share that to-date we have disbursed $68,270.00, to support 166 full-time staff, part-time staff, full-time contractors and part-time contractors in our Club community, through direct cash payments and/or cash advances disbursed from the fund.The fund will remain open until the COVID-19 situation is behind us. To our generous donors and supporters, we are immensely grateful.Your contributions have not only served as a much-appreciated financial lifeline for our staff in need, but have been treasured by all staff as a reminder of how valued and so loved they are by all of you. We look forward to your continued support of future initiatives under The Club’s Community Care campaign. Thank you once more, and we wish you the same abundance of kindness and support that you have so readily shown to us!
