Benefits of

twice a week

Regular and consistent swimming is the only way to reinforce lifesaving / drowning prevention and learn-to- swim skills. It has been proven that attending two lessons per week accelerates the learning process in the water at four times the rate compared to attending lessons once per week. 1. Double the benefits of swimming Swimming lessons can help your child with cognitive development, enhance his/her learning potential and boost social skills. Double classes means your child will be able to reap those benefits even more. 2. Repetition Learning to swim is just like learning any other skill – it’s all about practice and repetition. Repetition of small movements is imperative as mastering the basics will help swimmers to learn big movements. The more classes your child attends each week, the more he/she will repeat the learned movements – which will eventually help him/her to fine-tune his/her strokes. 3. Increased swimming time Attending swimming lessons for 30 minutes once a week totals to two hours of swim time per month. Two lessons per week doubles the swim time to four hours per month. More time spent in the pool translates to more practice of drills, which increases your child’s likelihood of improving his/her skills. 4. Move up a level sooner Kids get so excited when they’re able to master the skills needed to move up to the next level. Normally, it can take a few months or more to accomplish this — but by taking swim lessons twice a week, your child can pretty much cut that time in half! There’s nothing quite like seeing how proud your child gets when it’s time to move up a level after showing off his/her extraordinary results.
